Why is my GPS position inaccurate?
Pacenote requires a strong GPS signal to provide accurate calls. Make sure you are outside with a clear view of the sky. Tall buildings, dense forests, or being indoors can significantly interfere with GPS performance.
"Unable to find route" error
The app can only route to locations reachable by mapped roads or paths. You cannot route to a destination where no viable path exists—for example, a location separated by water without a bridge or ferry, or a restricted area.

App Settings & Performance

How do I change the app language?
You can customize your language and voice preference by heading to Settings > Language Options within the Pacenote app.
How do I reset my settings or fix glitches?
If you are experiencing unexpected behavior, you can clear your local settings by either:
  • Uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
  • Going to your device's Settings > Apps > Pacenote > Storage and selecting Clear Cache or Clear Data.
Why does navigation stop in the background?
Ensure you have granted "Allow all the time" location permissions and that your device's "Battery Saver" mode isn't killing the Pacenote background process.

Safety & Use Cases

Is Pacenote for public road use?
No. Pacenote is strictly for Off-Road and Private Track use only. The navigation style is designed for high-performance driving environments, not standard traffic commuting.
